Hi Bashir,
Informative post yet again 🙂
I liked all the tips you mentioned to drive social media traffic to your blog. I think what’s important is that you create your profile properly on all these main social sites before you proceed any further. I’ve seen SO many profiles where either their blog or site links aren’t given, or they aren’t updated regularly, both of which aren’t good for your followers and others who might visit your profiles.
Once your profiles are created, they have no meaning if no one joins or visit them, for which you have to build relationships with other bloggers or friends, and also make sure to share their content, which is another important point most people forget to do, or feel it’s not all that important, which actually IS.
I agree about providing incentives, or offering anything that is free as that brings in more traffic and helps people share things. But I’ve also noticed that some people take your free stuff and might subscribe that time, but are quick to unsubscribe soon after. I’d rather prefer they take the free stuff for free, and be left to join our email list if they wish to, without any conditions. It’s better still to build your subscriber list with those who like your work, rather than joining it only for the free things we might offer (just my thoughts, and I might be wrong there)
Yes indeed, your blog must be updated often with posts that would interest your readers, which you can make out from your stats and analytic report, and if your friends are on the social medias, they would surely get to know of it, and without you asking – would visit your blog.
Thanks for sharing these tips with us. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Hi Harleena,
Glad to know that you found my post informative and you liked the tips. Yes many bloggers are doing this mistake, they should avoid it. Social media profiles and pages are for your blog, if you’ve not given your blog link and description then go and do it, because this is the first step bloggers should follow.
You’re right – build your pages and profiles with friends and followers and make strong relationship. One should update his profile, page on daily basis and keep inform your followers something new.
Offering incentives is good idea and it will drive huge traffic. This is not for just one time you’ve to do it weekly or monthly so no one can unfollow your page or unsusbcribe from your list. 🙂
Thanks for adding value in my post with your awesome comment – I appreciate it.

The key is that you are active and engaged regardless of which social platform(s) you decide to join and use. You need to interact and offer something of value. I think that is where a lot of people struggle.

That’s what I’ve mentioned in my post.
